Declaration (For the umpteenth time)
Alright. Let's get something straight here. This is a BLOG. Not a space for me to write about my "feelings" or whatever. (I've declared this for countless times) Anyways, today, i encountered something rather pleasant which i found refreshing from the usual mellow mood of fellow Singaporeans around me as i go to and fro from school. Today, an old man (Who looked like some sociopath incidentally) kindly stopped the bus just so to remind me that i had dropped 6 dollars. This kind act has forced me to change my once negative view of the typical "old men" stereotype. For a reference, please look at Damien. According to me , a typical old man stereotype is one who walks around with a vaguely foolish expression on his face , muttering curses about youths. However, after today's incident, it has changed to a person who walks around with a vaguely enlightened look on his face , muttering at people if they dropped their money. Anyways, i must thank that unsung hero for reminding me that i had dropped my money. He could have pocketed it but honesty is an awesome thing.
